MISS NELSON IS MISSING!
Miss Nelson is Missing by James Marshall is a fun book to read at any time of the school year, but it's especially fun when you know you'll be out for a day and the class will be having a substitute teacher take your place.
Poor Miss Nelson! She has an unruly class that just won't behave. So a substitute teacher, Viola Swamp, fills in for the day. The class is TERRIFIED of their sub, so when Miss Nelson returns they are so happy to see her that they behave perfectly...so they won't have a substitute teacher ever again. But who exactly was Viola Swamp??
