We do a book study filled with companion activities that go with Flat Stanley in his original adventure.
Students search the book for the story elements. We discuss each of the main character's traits- what they are like on the inside and on the outside.

We do pages for each chapter that have students digging into the story to answer the questions.
There are some pages for students to make text-to-self connections. Students worked together to think about some problems in the story, and how they were resolved.
A response page allows students to reflect on the book and give their personal opinions and reflections.
This is on our Vocabulary Board, where we noted of some vocabulary words from the story.
