THE PIGEON WANTS A PUPPY BOOK ACTIVITIES
In The Pigeon Wants a Puppy by Mo Willems, Pigeon sets out to convince us that he really, really wants a puppy! In fact, Pigeon has wanted one forever...well, at least since last Tuesday :)
Pigeon is obsessed with getting a puppy. Pigeon promises to water it once a month and give it plenty of sunshine.
Pigeon will take a piggyback ride on the puppy, and play tennis with it. Pigeon LOVES puppies, and he wants one RIGHT NOW!!!!
That is, until a puppy comes along and frightens Pigeon to death. It's HUGE! And it has teeth, and is hairy, and has a wet nose, and slobber, and claws. Pigeon has changed his mind on the whole puppy thing. Now Pigeon wants a walrus!
