Looking for some FUN, holiday themed literacy centers that are ready to print and go? This pack of Christmas literacy centers includes tons of phonics and phonemic awareness activities that will help your students in Kindergarten and First Grade gain practice with lots of standards based learning!
In Fireside Phonics, students will practice identifying beginning and ending letter sounds by putting the missing letters in the words, based on the picture clues. They can use magnetic letters, letter tiles, or you can print pages and have them write or stamp their answers!
In Cookie CVC, students will practice identifying beginning, middle, and ending sounds by filling in the missing letters, using the picture clues. Various versions are included to accommodate for a range of ability levels (beginning letter only, vowel only, ending letter only, or all 3 letters!)
In Stocking Syllables, students practice identifying the number of syllables in words. They place the picture cards on the corresponding syllable sorting mat, then record their answers on the worksheet.
In Santa's List, students will practice putting Santa's list words in alphabetical order by sorting the picture cards, then printing the words in ABC order on their recording pages.
In Reindeer Rhyme, students practice rhyming words by matching the rhyming picture cards together. The activity includes 10 sets, and a student recording page is provided.
