THE GINGERBREAD MAN LOOSE AT CHRISTMAS
It's that time of year! The Gingerbread Man is Loose at Christmas, and he is making a gift for someone special.
The holiday season is the perfect time to spread thanks and perform random acts of kindness to those who help in the community. The children in the class are busy making special treats and cards, and practicing holiday songs to share!
The class of children make their way around town to deliver their gifts to various community helpers. The Gingerbread Man comes along, but faces some unexpected problems. Gingerbread and snow are not a good mix, and he begins to fall apart!
Thankfully the baker in town can fix him up again! And the Gingerbread Man manages to deliver his card.
This is a great Christmas book that doesn't focus on expensive gifts or what the children hope to receive. It is about simple things they can give to those around them as signs of appreciation and random acts of kindness.
This book study activities unit is filled with literacy companion activities that align to Common Core, TEKS, and VA SOL learning standards. The craftivity makes a fun bulletin board to showcase student learning.
