Junie B Jones is afraid to go trick-or-treating because of the scary creatures...and some especially scary secrets that Paulie Allan Puffer has told her!
So Junie B decides to dress as a scary creature herself, to scare everything else away. She decides to be a clown, because what is scarier than clowns!?
Unfortunately for June B, no one is afraid of her when she's wearing her clown costume.
She goes to bed upset that she hasn't managed to scare anyone...until her dad comes into her room at night and is startled that Junie has her clown makeup still on. Junie is pleased to have finally scared somebody on Halloween!
